This seemed strange and unreliable. Then I read the reviews and had to post about it. A wireless keyboard that uses only solar power: indoors. It does have a battery in it, which must be why it is reliable. It works off of artificial or natural light. Also, it is 1/3" thick. Check out the reviews for yourself (opens in a new tab).
