Netbooks, cheaper, more portable and better battery life

Wish your laptop were smaller?  My wife sure hates carrying my huge clunker around.  Netbooks are mini laptops with no optical drive.  Optical drives hardly get used anymore anyway.  The main drawback is they will try to put Windows Starter edition on them, which is not desirable (for example you can only have 1gb of ram and you can't customize your background, among other things).  This one, however, has a Windows 7 Home Edition, 2gb ram and a 1080P HDMI out.
